The CHG Healthcare Foundation faced an unprecedented year in 2020, rapidly shifting priorities to respond to the urgent needs created by the COVID‑19 pandemic.
The 2020 Annual Report reflects a year defined by crisis response, compassion, and steadfast support for healthcare providers, CHG employees, and underserved communities.
In 2020, we:
- Redirected the majority of our efforts to pandemic response, providing approximately $580,000 in COVID‑related grants and resources
- Supported frontline healthcare workers through funding for PPE, food, testing supplies, and emergency medical services
- Invested $90,000 in sustainable healthcare partners to expand COVID care and education in underserved communities
- Created the Coronavirus Immediate Relief Fund, distributing more than $260,000 through 869 grants to CHG employees facing financial hardship
- Partnered with the CHG Employee Compassion Fund, contributing $150,000 to support employees with significant financial needs
We are deeply proud of the Foundation’s ability to act quickly in a time of crisis and grateful for the compassion and resilience shown throughout 2020 as we came together to support one another when it mattered most.
Please note that we changed our name in 2025, older reports will use our previous name, the Making a Difference Foundation.
